Beef from 7X Beef
SOURCE Local Foods has cultivated a special relationship
with boutique beef producer, 7X Beef.
Located on the Western Slopes of the Rocky Mountains, 7X Beef has
transported 100% purebred Japanese cattle to pasture in our Colorado
high country.
7X cattle graze on protein-rich grasses within high country meadows,
enjoy annual legumes grown on the land and drink pure water from
streams, creeks and natural springs. Sustainable ranch practices
are displayed by 7X Cattle Company's attention to pasture rotation,
efficient water management and a high quality of life created for their
cattle.
7X cattle are given the time and space to grow, adding an extended life
span to the herd than most ranches allow for. A combination of
special genetics and very dedicated ranching operations result in prime
marbling in specialty cuts of ultra premium beef. This high marbling
content lends to increased oleic acid in the meat, which melts at a
lower temperature, distributes an even buttery mouth texture and yields
rich, flavorful, juicy, tender beef.
